Whether you’re plant based or just fancy something a bit different to your everyday burger, this bean burger is packed full of fibre, protein and antioxidants that your gut bacteria will love. It’s super quick and easy to make, this will quickly become one of your go to dinners!

Serves: 6
Ingredients:
1 x tin cooked black beans (drained)
1 x egg
2 x garlic cloves (if ok with garlic)
Large bunch coriander
1 x chopped celery
1 teaspoon ground coriander
1 teaspoon paprika
Salt & pepper.
Method:
Add all ingredients into a food blender and pulse until the mixture is well combined.
Take a small handful of the mixture and make it into the shape of a burger. The mixture makes around 4 – 6 burgers.
Place a pan on a medium heat with 1 tablespoon of coconut oil. Fry the burgers for a few minutes on each side.
Place into the oven at 180° for 15 minutes or until the burger is cooked through.
Serve in a bun with avocado, cheese, homemade coleslaw or own choice of topping. Goes well with sweet potato wedges on the side.
